is the global resource and leader in systems modeling and simulation, bringing the worlds of systems engineering and computer aided engineering together.
The Simulation Innovation and Modeling Center (SIMCenter) is an interdisciplinary research center for the virtual simulation and modeling of product performance and manufacturing processes. The SIMCenter researches and applies computer-aided engineering (CAE) techniques to the design and manufacturing of advanced products and production concepts.
The Ohio State University SIMCenter came together with SMS_ThinkTank in a new partnership to offer an online Systems Modeling and Simulation SMS continuing education program.
The new program is the extended online version of a course typically offered live by SMS_ThinkTank and will be delivered using a mix of asynchronous course delivery with synchronous meetings throughout the program’s two-week period.
“SIMCenter’s role is to develop these courses for online delivery,” said Emily Nutwell, Research Specialist at the SIMCenter. “These courses offer a business perspective of simulation and modeling and align well with SIMCenter course offerings, which address technical knowledge and understanding of simulation and modeling topics.”
