Audie Penn

In 2016, Audie Penn began consulting, specializing in the deployment and execution of Operational Excellence. His focus is developing Strategy Deployment processes, training executives and local plant staff to execute process improvement and achieve targeted results. Prior to consulting, Penn was responsible for multiple manufacturing positions including Group Manager of the North American Assembly Operations for Hydraulic Excavators, Caterpillar, Inc.; General Manager North American Operations, Manitowoc Cranes; and Plant Manager for other organizations. He is experienced in global operations, having also worked in China, Europe, Central America, and South America. Penn is a Certified Lean Practitioner at the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels through the Lean Certification Alliance: Association of Manufacturing Excellence, The Shingo Institute, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He sits on the board for the Lean Certification Alliance and assumed the role of board President in 2022.
